Humanity United for Equity
Building Stability. Expanding Equity.
Whatever is affecting your health, your stability, or your opportunity — we connect it into one coordinated Pathway, so you're not the one holding all the pieces together.
What We're Building
We're building a Health Equity Ecosystem — one connected infrastructure for housing, healthcare, mental health, education, economic stability, and community support.
Not a referral. Not a network. One place. One Pathway. Real stability.
The Reason
The system is not broken by accident. It was built in pieces. Separate agencies, separate forms, separate waiting lists, separate people asking you to explain your life from the beginning, again.
The people who need the most support spend the most energy just trying to connect the dots. Fragmented systems produce fragmented outcomes.
We exist to end that.
We are something that didn't exist before — not a better version of what's already here. We are the blueprint for what integrated support actually looks like.
Humanity United for Equity
Real-Life Support for Real-Life Barriers
Life doesn’t separate itself into neat categories. Housing can impact health. Grief can affect work. Food access, income, education, emotional support, and community connection can all impact whether you feel stable, stuck, or stretched too thin.
We’re a community-based organization and health equity system rooted in Houston. We help you make sense of what you’re facing, find support, and move through systems that are confusing, disconnected, or hard to navigate alone.
5 Pillars
Your zip code. Your income. Your school. Your neighborhood. Your community. These conditions shape your health more than any doctor visit — and we address all five.
One Ecosystem
Every Pathway is connected. Your needs move across housing, health, education, work, and community — so the support moves with you.
Rooted in Houston
Atlanta is next. We only expand when we can fully show up — resourced, staffed, and ready.
Built for Real Care
Walk in with a need. Walk out with a Pathway and a team behind you.
The Model Behind the Mission
A Health Equity Ecosystem
We're building support for the way you actually live. You may be carrying housing stress, grief, emotional strain, employment pressure, healthcare needs, and family responsibilities at the same time. We bring those pieces into one clear model of support.

We work across health, housing, education, economic stability, emotional support, and the community conditions that shape everyday life. The goal isn't to place you in a narrow category. It's to understand what's affecting your stability and identify your next step.

Our work is community-rooted. We build access through trusted local relationships and familiar spaces — schools, salons, barbershops, gyms, restaurants, and the everyday places where people already feel connected.
Learn About Our ApproachFinding Support for Life’s Moving Parts
Our work is built on the idea that support should never stop at a single issue, when life often asks you to carry several at once.
That’s why we organize our work around Pathways — connected areas of support that help you understand what’s affecting your stability, find the right starting point, and move without being handed off.

You Shouldn't Have to Navigate Broken Systems Alone
Many systems are organized around categories. Housing. Healthcare. Employment. Education. Mental health. Community support.
But you don’t experience life that way. One challenge can impact another, and the pressure can build quickly when support feels disconnected.
We exist for people and communities facing barriers to stability, especially when traditional systems feel hard to understand, access, or trust.
Our work is affirming, culturally grounded, and responsive to the communities we serve, including LGBTQ+ people and communities most impacted by barriers to care, housing, income, education, and support.
How We Connect Support
Start With the Person
We begin with what you're facing, not a narrow label, category, or form. The goal is to understand your reality before deciding what kind of support may fit.
Look at What’s Connected
Challenges often overlap. We look at how housing, grief, emotional health, income, education, healthcare, and community conditions may affect your stability.
Find the Right Pathway
Once the bigger picture is clear, we work closely to help identify the pathway, resource, partner, or support option that may genuinely make sense for the current situation.
Coordinate the Next Step
We help you understand what comes next — and we stay on it with you. When another organization is genuinely the right answer, we coordinate the handoff and follow through instead of ending the conversation.
Staying Connected
Support doesn't go away after one conversation. We stay connected so you have steadier guidance as you move through the process.
How We Show Up
Community-Rooted Access
We build access through familiar spaces and real relationships — where trust is built over time, not assumed.
Connected Pathways
We connect the different areas of your life, so you're not navigating each one on your own.
Infrastructure Behind the Mission
We build the systems behind the support — so nothing gets lost and you never have to start from scratch.
Founder-Led Perspective
We were built by someone who lived it — and built this because it should have existed a long time ago.
ABOUT
Our Founder
We’re led by our Founder & Executive Director, Khalil Noah Scott.
Raised in group homes, foster homes, and behavioral health facilities. Adopted by his grandmother at sixteen. A survivor of the criminal legal system. Living with HIV. Homeless as an adult in 2024.
Every Pathway we offer is one he has needed. He did not study fragmented systems from a distance — he lived inside them, and that gave him a precise picture of exactly what should have existed and never did.
We’re not a reaction to a broken system. We’re the blueprint for what the system should have been.
